Optical Science and Engineering Center (OSEC) was founded in 2015, as an answer to an increasing number of research activities in the field of optical science and engineering around the globe. Light is the only type of energy that can be precisely controlled and transmitted coherently without any confinement. These properties make light unique for future nanoscale applications as we are racing to make our devices smaller. Light has been an integral component in many applications, ranging from light bulb, laser radar in google cars to even laser weapons in Star Wars.
